Hi, Have been using your viewer, nice, a fine job and smooth navigation, looks great. I see in the git you have been working on a .3ds file format exporter, was there any particular reason to start with that first? I have been doing a little research myself have you seen this http://assimp.sourceforge.net/main_features_export.html Have a look at the assimp viewer and see what you think, they have just the main exports sorted at the moment Collada ( .dae ) Wavefront Object ( .obj ) Stereolithography ( .stl ) Stanford Polygon Library ( .ply ) with an extensive import library. Would the Assimp (open asset import library)... now with export, be of any use to you in your development ? I am not a coder so am not sure if it would be compatible with GLC_Lib. although we live in hope. I cant wait to be able to get at those 3dxml files. Keep up the great work. A |
